OtherDe 3M™ Steri-Strip Hechtstrips worden op grote schaal gebruikt in spoeddiensten van ziekenhuizen en operatiezalen. Snel en makkelijk aan te brengen, houden ze de wondranden van een scheur- of snijwonde samen. De heling wordt bevorderd doordat de treksterkte van de wonde snel toeneemt. Hechtstrips voor de huid leiden, door de afwezigheid van inprikopeningen en hechtdraadinsnoeringen, tot een esthetischer resultaat en een verminderde littekenvorming . Indicatie sluiting van oppervlakkige wonden vroegtijdige vervanging van draad of nietjes sluiting in combinatie met draad of nietjes Kenmerken Sterker, zelfs in vochtige omgeving snellere wondheling en kwalitatief beter dan draad of nietjes minimaal risico : steriel verpakt; geen uitrafeling van het weefsel esthetische wondgenezing : goede sluiting van de wondranden en uniforme verdeling van de spanning
