Methodology
- Sources: prices, stock and product information come from partner feeds and public product pages of 8 online pharmacies and retailers serving Belgium, including De Online Drogist, Pazzox, ICI PARIS XL, Body & Fit, Supspace, Neapharma, Intoleran, Blue Skincare.
- Matching: products are matched by EAN code, CNK code, brand and product name. Only identical products (same pack size and dosage) are compared.
- Cadence: prices are refreshed when partner feeds are synchronised. Every page shows the date of the last update.
- Prices: all prices include VAT and exclude shipping costs.
- Exclusions: price differences larger than a factor of 5 are treated as unreliable (likely data error or different pack size) and are excluded from the statistics.
- Population: the index contains 78,036 unique product records, including 62,580 with at least one current price. Savings figures use only the 2,589 reliably matched products with prices from at least two providers.
