Methodology
- Sources: prices, stock and product information come from partner feeds and public product pages of 7 online pharmacies and retailers serving Belgium, including Pazzox.be, ICI PARIS XL, De Online Drogist.
- Matching: products are matched by EAN code, CNK code, brand and product name. Only identical products (same pack size and dosage) are compared.
- Cadence: prices are refreshed when partner feeds are synchronised. Every page shows the date of the last update.
- Prices: all prices include VAT and exclude shipping costs.
- Exclusions: price differences larger than a factor of 5 are treated as unreliable (likely data error or different pack size) and are excluded from the statistics.
- Sample: the index is based on all 63,445 tracked products; savings figures use the 2,248 products with prices at two or more providers.
