Methodology
Sources
We collect pricing data from five Belgian online pharmacies: Viata.be, Farmaline.be, Medi-Market.be, Newpharma.be and 24Pharma.be. All pharmacies are licensed by the FAMHP.
Data collection
Our automated systems consult the public product pages of each pharmacy daily. We record the price, stock status and product information. Prices always include VAT and exclude delivery costs.
Product matching
Products are matched based on their CNK number (unique Belgian product identification number) or EAN code. This ensures we always compare exactly the same product across different pharmacies.
Display
Prices are always sorted from low to high. The cheapest pharmacy is highlighted. Savings are calculated as the difference between the highest and lowest price. We only show products available at two or more pharmacies.
Limitations
Prices are indicative and may differ at the time of purchase. Not all products from every pharmacy are included. Delivery costs and any discount codes are not taken into account. Always check the current price on the pharmacy's website.
