OtherBiatain - Ag verbanden zijn polyurethaan schuimverbanden waarin een antibacterieel zilvercomplex homogeen verspreid is over de volledige structuur. Zodra het wondexsudaat in contact komt met het wondverband wordt het zilver in het wondbed vrijgegeven. Toepassing Biatain - Ag zilververbanden zijn aangewezen voor matig tot sterk exsuderende wonden (ulcus cruris, decubitus, oppervlakkige tweedegraadsbrandwonden, donorsites, postoperatieve wonden en schaafwonden) met een vertraagde wondgenezing als gevolg van bacteriën of waar risico bestaat op infectie. Biatain - Ag Niet-Adhesief is tevens geïndiceerd voor diabetische voetulcera. Biatain - Ag is geschikt voor gebruik onder compressietherapie.
